The keynote speaker is Hartry Field from NYU.
Here is the call for papers:
All submissions of high quality will be considered. This year we encourage papers focused especially on the topics of Truth, Meaning, and Evidence. This set of themes should be construed broadly and may among other things include questions concerning scientific (anti)realism, interpretation, decision theory, concept formation, representation, identity, philosophy of science, confirmation, vagueness, and philosophical logic.
• All submissions must be prepared for blind review. The paper must have no identifying information and must include at the top an abstract of no more than 250 words.
• Submitted papers must be no more than 4000 words in length.
• All papers must be submitted electronically as a .pdf or .doc. by December 1, 2008.
To submit papers go to www.pitt.edu/~philgrad/papers.html.
Further information may be found at http://www.pitt.edu/~philgrad/.
The conference website doesn't look to have been completely updated since last year's conference, but I assume that will happen soon. For more information, contact Julia Bursten at burstenj@gmail.com.
