Event Ontology Readings
As ridiculous as this request seems in light of the length of my reading list and my own pessimism about getting through it, I remembered that I've been meaning to find out where to start with readings on the ontology of events. If anyone has suggestions, please let me know.

For a decent bibliography to start with, check out Peter Simons' entry on `Events' in the Oxford Handbook of Metaphysics. A few important papers that come to mind:

Davidson: `The Individuation of Events' (1969), `Events as Particulars' (1970)
Chisholm: `Events and Propositions' (1970)
Kim: `Events as Property Exemplifications' (1976)
Lewis: `Events' (In his Philosophical Papers Vol. II)
